Imagine Explorers

Imagine Explorers is a dynamic oral storytelling class where learners actively participate in story creation. With a base storyline, educators will set the stage for the adventure, and along the way, learners will add to the account with their input. This class will have lots of body movement as learners act out the story as it’s being told. 

For example, one week, the class might be on a Jungle expedition inviting learners to use imaginary binoculars to spot a large green tree boa! Learners could practice flicking their tongues and making the Ssss sound a snake can make. In another week, the class may be on a newly discovered planet in space and can practice their space walk. Through this class, learners will be exposed to different plants, animals, and ecosystems in a fun and engaging way. It is an excellent introduction to science and geography concepts while encouraging imagination and creative participation. 

Sometimes our stories will be factual and logical while other times fanciful and playful, but they will always be an adventure! We hope to have your learner join us!
