Calling all dinosaur lovers!
If your learner loves watching dino-themed TV shows, pouring over dinosaur books, playing with dinosaur toys, and can stomp and roar like a dinosaur (or is willing to try), this is the club for them!
Each week, learners will be introduced to a new dinosaur. They will then practice scientific observation skills by examining an illustration of that dinosaur together, studying its unique attributes. Once learners have had the chance to share their observations, students will log the dinosaur of the week into their field guide by drawing it, then colouring and labelling it. Weekly printed fact sheets will be provided, which students may also cut out and add to their journals.
The remainder of the class will be spent exchanging dinosaur facts, sharing favourite dinosaur toys and books, and generally enjoying all things dinosaurs together. Occasionally, we may also play related interactive games and do movement activities.
Learners are encouraged to bring something dino-related to share each week; it will be a roaring good time!
